Suspended ceilings
Complete the look with a suspended ceiling installation
A suspended ceiling is a specific design of ceiling that includes a gap between the ceiling and the floor above from which it hangs. Commonly used in commercial spaces, this is a great way of concealing wires and cables safely and practically.
Our installation service
We can provide a comprehensive range of suspended ceiling tiles, grids and ancillary products to satisfy your requirements. Choose from plain tiles or fissured tiles, square edge tiles or tegular tiles. If you are trying to match an existing tile, we can help you identify which tile you have.
Bespoke additional features
There are a great deal of additional ceiling fixtures and fittings to choose from when choosing HMF as your suspended ceiling installer. As the main contractor, we can also include air conditioning units, heating, light fittings, smoke alarms and sprinklers within suspended ceiling panels.
Suspended ceilings installed with care
We can source materials from well-known manufacturers including Zentia, OWA, USG and more. HMF ensure all health and safety and fire regulations are adhered to at all times during installation.
Plasterboard MF ceilings
An elegant, smooth and contemporary ceiling design to consider.
Compared to suspended ceilings, where ceiling tiles are set into a grid, a metal frame (MF) ceiling uses plasterboard fixed to a frame, meaning the grid is not visible. It looks more like the original ceiling, just lower. They are particularly long-lasting and are often a ceiling of choice for commercial refurbishment projects.
MF plasterboard ceilings can be designed to suit both non-fire-rated and fire-rated applications. We can also carry out tape and jointing, decoration works and lighting to finish off your ceiling, providing a new, fresh, modern look.
A complete ceiling design
We will help you to ensure that your new ceiling doesn't just look the part but also complies with fire regulations, whilst helping to reduce your longer-term energy costs.
Insulation for commercial ceilings
Boost your energy efficiency with ceiling insulation
Applying insulation above a ceiling or within a partition void can be a cost-effective way to reduce heat loss. This is particularly beneficial for increasing your business’s energy efficiency and reducing your building’s heating costs.
Insulation can also have the added benefit of offering good soundproofing as the sound transmission is usually in the ceiling void above.
Fire barriers
Ensure complete compliance with fire barriers
A suspended ceiling fire barrier is a double-sided Class O foil-faced mineral fibre, which provides a fire-rated acoustic seal within a ceiling or roof void.
We also offer a range of curtain walling firestops. They prevent the rapid spread of flames, gases and smoke.
HMF can supply all your insulation and fire barrier requirements. We use the best products from leading brands such as Rockwool, Isowool, British Gypsum and Knauf.
