Creating Lorry Loads More Space

Adams Morey undertake lorry & commercial vehicle repairs and servicing. HMF were asked by Ample Power to provide a quote to help the end client, Adams Morey, consolidating various sites parts departments to one base requiring auto parts storage together with larger parts pallet storage.

HMF provided a solution by installing a mezzanine floor with fire protection, small parts shelving and pallet racking with some partitioning and ceiling work.

The mezzanine floor was installed with 1 hour fire protection including column casings, fascia & an Armstrong suspended ceiling. Decorated kickrail was also fitted to the existing mezzanine on site.

Dexion Hi280 shelving was installed both on the ground floor below the mezzanine & on top of the mezzanine floor itself creating a dense storage facility for small parts. PSS Stronglock pallet racking with anti-collapse protection mesh to the rear was also installed to allow for storage of larger parts.

Partitioning with a sliding glass access hatch was installed. To assist the client finishing the project on schedule HMF also provided labour to lay carpet tiles, provide decoration where required and repair existing ceilings to ensure the end client, Adams Morey, were handed over the completed building on time.

The new facility created here has created a singular central parts storage allowing for expansion/change of use to Adams Morey’s other sites.

The mezzanine floor and storage equipment installation was completed within the agreed 8 week programme including the additional works HMF provided to assist with the handover.
